Support Adan Garcia's Color Guard Dream

Hi, my name is Adan Garcia, and I'm reaching out to share my passion for color guard. As a senior in this activity, I’ve dreamed of becoming a color guard director one day, and I believe this summer provides a crucial opportunity for me to grow in that direction. I am hoping to join a drum corps, which is such an invaluable experience for artists like me.

For those who may not be familiar with it, Drum Corps International (DCI), established in 1972, serves as the non-profit governing and oversight body for drum and bugle corps across North America, specifically for young members aged 16 to 22. I’m excited to have the chance to audition for the Sacramento Mandarins, but I face a significant hurdle—getting to Houston for the auditions. Unfortunately, I don’t have the full funds to make this trip, and it would truly mean the world to me if you could help out in any way. Thank you so much for considering my request.
