Support Adam's Recovery After His Accident
Donation protected
As many of you have heard, my brother Adam Richardson was involved in a motorcycle accident on Saturday Dec 14th during a motocross race. Adam was battling for the lead in one of his races when he and another competor got tangled up and went for a ride. As a result Adam suffered a broken tibia bone right below the knee cap and a dislocated knee. Adam was taken by ambulance to evergreen hospital for immediate medical attention and would eventually be transfered to Harbor view medical center. He under went two different surgeries. The first being a impbiled let with pins and rod to keep everything in place. The second surgery which he just finished this afternoon was to remove everything and put the plates and screws in to hold him back together. He is now on the road to recovery and will be able to return home to his family where he can get much needed rest and continue to recover. With all this in mid Adam is in good spirits, had a few laughs and even said " I'm going to race again some day once I'm healed up". As many of you also know Adam just returned to work after a very long strike and has only been back for a few weeks before the accident. Adam has already begun to get help in these time of need but unfortunately he wont be recovering much help at all. Anyone who knows Adam or has had the pleasure of meeting him knows he is the type of guy that would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need no matter what, he's one of the most humble human beings I have ever met. Over the years Adam has not only become a friend but family to me. We often speak about each other as brothers to pepole! Adam's doctor said after surgery today he's looking at about three to four months recovery time with lots of physical therapy ahead before he ready to walk on his own again. This alone we are all greatful that despite everythinng Adam is ex[ected to make a full recovery and be able to walk again. We are very blessed that the doctors, friends and family have all came together in a time of need and have shown support, he has a great team behind him. We are asking for donations to help Adam with the crazy amount of medical bills and financial hardships of not being able to work at this time. Anything that can be donated would help this man tremedisouly. We ask that you all pray for him and to bless the hands of the doctors during these times and for Adam to recover healthy and return to life as best that he can. I would like to also ask that even if you can not donate to please reach out, shoot him a message, give him a call, let him know that we are all thinking about him and praying for him, I know that it would mean a lot to him. We would like to thank each and everyone of you for you love and support during these time, thank you and God Bless!
