Adam has been a dear friend of ours for nearly a decade the kind of person who always shows up with a warm smile, a helping hand, or the perfect joke when you need it most. Now, he’s facing one of the hardest chapters of his life, and we’re hoping to rally around him the way he’s always shown up for others.
A few weeks ago, Adam was rushed into emergency surgery after a sudden and severe rupture of his appendix. The infection had spread quickly and dangerously. While the surgery saved his life, it came with serious complications. He’s now recovering at home, but the infection hasn’t fully cleared. He’s still weak, in pain, and navigating a maze of follow-up doctor visits all while facing uncertainty about what comes next.
The physical recovery is just one part of the battle. Emotionally and financially, this experience has been incredibly overwhelming. Adam works in sales, but the surgery forced him to stop working completely. And without medical insurance, the costs of his emergency care and ongoing treatment have been devastating. With no income and short-term disability still pending, he’s struggling to keep up with everyday essentials rent, utilities, groceries all while medical bills continue to pile up.
This fundraiser is his lifeline. It’s a way for those who know and love Adam and even for those who may not know him personally — to say: You’re not alone. We’ve got your back.
Every single donation will go directly toward helping Adam stay afloat: covering his medical expenses, paying rent and utility bills, and keeping food on the table while he focuses on healing. More than just financial support, it gives Adam the peace of mind to take a deep breath and focus on getting better, knowing he’s surrounded by people who care.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading. Whether you can give, share, or simply send some positive thoughts Adam’s way — it means more than words can express.
