Support Adam's Journey with Lola the Service Dog

Hello!

This is Adam and Lola!

Adam is diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). A pretty big thing of POTS is the effect on his blood flow, which causes muscle tension, dizziness, nausea, and most importantly, passing out. Before POTS, Adam was a normal 20-something working on a college degree, working full time, and working on his first purchased home! Since his diagnosis with POTS at age 23, Adam has had to take a break from all of these things. He is now 26 years old and in search of some hope for his future. Adam needs a service dog, and that’s where Lola comes in.

Lola is a wonderful 9 week old Golden Doodle! She came into our lives when we stopped to peruse a flea market (to give Adam a chance to stretch and restore blood flow to his body). One thing led to another, and we left the flea market with a dog! (And 3 pieces of fudge).

Adam wants to help the world. He is a beekeeper, an environmentalist, and a caring guy. Having a service dog could give him a chance to work again and make a positive impact on his community. Funds will be used to pay for training for Lola to learn how to detect when he might pass out, alert him, get him sat down, bring him medication and water, and try to prevent these episodes.
