Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I never imagined I would find myself in this position, sharing my story and asking for help. Life can change in an instant, and for me, that moment came when I was suddenly hospitalized with a severe case of sepsis. What followed was an overwhelming battle—not just for my health, but for my future.
During my hospitalization, I faced a series of devastating medical challenges. Sepsis led to complications that left me with bilateral leg numbness, peripheral neuropathy, enlarged heart, rhabdomyolysis, and drop foot in both feet, nerve damage in both lower legs, now having to relearn to walk, move freely, and perform even the simplest daily tasks. Every moment since has been a test of resilience and determination.
As if the physical hardship weren’t enough, I was blindsided by another blow—I was wrongfully terminated from my job while still in the hospital. The very place that once provided me with stability and purpose suddenly stripped away my livelihood when I needed it the most.
Now, I find myself facing uncertainty in every direction. Medical bills are piling up. Physical therapy and ongoing treatments are necessary for any chance of recovery. Without my job, financial strain has become an unbearable reality.
That’s why I’m here today, humbly asking for your support. Your generosity will help cover:
• Medical expenses for continued treatment and rehabilitation
• Physical therapy to regain mobility and independence
• Daily living costs as I work toward recovery and find new employment
I know times are tough for many, and asking for help is never easy. But if you are able, any donation—big or small—will make an enormous difference in helping me rebuild my life after this unforeseen crisis.
Even if you cannot contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with others can bring it to the attention of more people who may be able to help.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for offering hope in a time when I need it most.
With gratitude, Adam
