Thank you for reading. My name is Adam. For the last year, I was my father’s sole caregiver after he was diagnosed with cancer. He passed away on August 16, 2025; I was his primary support and now I’m managing his affairs alone while also filing an appeal for my own disability.

The disability process can take months, and I’m currently unable to work. That has left me without the funds needed for basic living costs and for several immediate estate needs: paying property taxes, keeping electricity and basic utilities on in the trailer so I can safely work there, and installing security measures (locks/boards) to prevent theft or further damage. There are also final-expense details and small legal/filing costs.

I’m asking for $2,000 to cover:

- Past-due bills and taxes related to the trailer

- Utility costs to keep power on while I work on cleanup and repairs

- Basic security and stabilization (locks, boarding, minor repairs)

- Short-term living expenses while I wait for the appeal to move forward
