Support Adam's Healing After Accident
Donation protected
This is my son Adam. He was involved in a motorcycle accident while on his way home from work on 01/25/25. A driver pulled out in front of him, and he had zero time to react. He ended up suffering a broken pelvis, broken arm, broken foot, and several fractures on his lower spine, but no internal injuries. Thankfully, he was wearing his safety gear and helmet, or it could have been a lot worse.
After a week of surgeries, the doctors have pieced him back together, and he only has one surgery left to do right now. It is unclear if he will need more in the immediate future or not, but as of right now, he only has the one. When it's time, there's going to be the pain of relearning how to walk, but they are very optimistic that he will walk again. Right now, he is being very stoic, as the doctors and nurses keep telling me, but it's hard watching my son lay there in bed and not being able to move without assistance. Some of his surgeries have been running later at night, so the doctors call and give me updates when that happens. But I have been there since I got the phone call from the hospital, and spent the weekend by his side. Explaining to him why he was there and what the Dr.'s had planed to do first. Calming him when he woke up screaming from what happened.
I know this is going to be a long road of recovery. As of right now, I just need help with the immediate expenses that are coming up and the bills that soon will come. Any donation, no matter how small, would be a huge help in covering the costs of his medical care, rehabilitation, and the many unexpected expenses that arise in the wake of such an accident.
