I want to share the difficult story of my husband, Adam, who was recently diagnosed with Acute Leukemia blood cancer. As you can imagine, this unexpected journey has turned our lives upside down. While we are fighting this illness with everything we have, the mounting medical bills and associated expenses are becoming an overwhelming challenge.

Adam is a kind, hardworking man who loves everyone and is always willing to give the shirt off his back. He loves his family and is so excited to be a new grandpa to our grandson, Rafael. Throughout his treatments, he has shown so much courage. However, as his wife, watching him navigate the physical and emotional toll of chemotherapy—and potentially a bone marrow transplant down the road—is heartbreaking, especially when compounded by the stress of out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Despite our best efforts, the medical costs, travel for treatments, and daily living expenses while he is unable to work have created a significant financial burden on our family.
