Adam is currently facing stage 4 esophageal cancer, a diagnosis that has changed every aspect of his life and deeply affected his family. His wife, Kirsten, and their two sons, Barrett and Alex, are by his side every day, supporting him through countless medical appointments and the emotional challenges that come with this illness. The family is doing everything they can to stay strong together, but the journey has been incredibly difficult.

With Adam unable to work, the family could use our help to cover daily living expenses and the costs of traveling to Texas. On July 8th, Adam and his family will need to travel to MD Anderson for a week-long stay, which adds significant expenses for travel, lodging, and daily needs. With the uncertainty this diagnosis brings, Adam and Kirsten want to travel as a family. These costs add extra stress as they focus on caring for Adam. On May 28, Adam was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Since then, our world has changed in ways we never imagined. After countless scans, tests, and procedures, our local doctors believe that our best hope in fighting this terrible disease lies with MD Anderson.
