Support Adam's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I’m reaching out today on behalf of one of the nicest, most caring people I have ever met, and I’m so thankful to call her my best friend, Cory Wallner. I have known Cory for 10 years now and Adam for the past 3. They are a beautiful couple, both with the kindest hearts, who would help anyone in need at any time. So now I ask for your support for Adam, a devoted father to 11-year-old Spencer and the love of Cory’s life. Recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive stage 4 prostate cancer, what started as a small concern quickly escalated, and over the past few weeks, Adam has learned that the cancer has spread to his bones and lymph nodes.

Adam is now facing months of chemotherapy IV treatments until March, in addition to numerous medications. Unfortunately, Adam did not have health insurance this year due to its high cost, and just one of his hormone treatments alone costs a staggering $14,000. He is doing his best to secure financial assistance, but the mounting medical expenses and the uncertainty of being able to work during treatment are overwhelming.

Adam is a hardworking single father who, like many of us, relies on his job to cover bills and take care of his son. However, with the physically demanding nature of his job and the intensity of his treatments, there will be days when he simply cannot work. This campaign aims to ease the financial burden and give Adam the breathing room he needs to focus on his health and spend time with Spencer during this incredibly difficult journey.

Adam and Spencer share a love for the outdoors—they enjoy fishing, camping, and especially their cherished trips “Upta camp,” a nod to the Maine comedian Bob Marley. Sadly, this winter’s skiing plans will have to wait as Adam prioritizes his treatment. Our goal is to help them continue creating memories, even during this challenging time.
