Adama's total annual school-related expenses are $20,000 USD. He and I agreed to split this financial burden 50/50 since a Japanese student visa only allows him to legally work part time.

My original plan was to raise $5,000 in individual donations through GoFundMe, and a nonprofit organization was going to provide the additional $5,000 each year. However, the organization is no longer able to provide this donation. Adama's tuition bill is now overdue and if we don't raise an additional $5,000 soon he will lose his student status and be deported back to The Gambia. We need to raise $1,800 by August 30th, and the final $3,200 by September 4th.
