Within just a few short years, Adam has lost his entire immediate family — both parents and now his only brother and he needs our help to make sure he can bring John home to rest peacefully, where he belongs.

Adam must act quickly to arrange cremation, travel, and the legal process abroad, which comes with heavy costs he simply cannot shoulder alone.

About the Organizer

My name is Erin, and John was one of my closest friends for over 15 years. We met in college, lived in Denver together, and stayed close ever since — through countless adventures, visits, and FaceTime hangs. John was like family to me: loyal, wildly intelligent, and full of heart.

He was also wonderfully complicated — the kind of person who could frustrate you one minute and make you laugh until you cried the next. He was bold, funny, and endlessly curious about life. Those who knew him best understood that his intensity and energy came from a place of deep passion and a desire to live fully, even when life got messy.

I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Adam Knapp, who has lost both parents and now his brother all over a very short period of time. All funds raised will go directly to Adam to cover the costs of travel, cremation, and memorial arrangements so that John can be brought home to rest beside his family.
