***If you know Stephanie, I kindly ask that you please not contact her for the time being. She needs time to process everything and focus on her family as they prepare for the long road ahead.***
My sister, Stephanie Hunt, her husband, Adam Hunt, and their four young children were involved in a devastating head-on collision on 2/14/26.
By the grace of God, Stephanie and the children sustained only minor injuries. We are endlessly thankful that their lives were spared and that they are still here with us. However, Adam faces an extensive and long road to recovery.
Adam is currently in the ICU and is expected to remain there for some time as he undergoes multiple surgeries. The extent of his injuries means that his healing journey will not be quick, and the challenges facing their family are just beginning.
Anyone who knows Adam knows the kind of man he is. He is an incredibly positive person with an uplifting spirit. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, show up when someone is in need, and be an encouragement to those around him. He is devoted husband and a loving, hands-on father to his four children.
Stephanie is a committed stay-at-home mom who pours her heart into caring for their four children. As Adam fights to recover, Stephanie is carrying the emotional weight of supporting her children while also navigating the her husbands recovery journey. In addition to the trauma of the accident, there will be significant financial strain on their family.
There will be ongoing hospital expenses, future rehabilitation costs, daily living expenses, and travel costs back and forth to the hospital. With Adam unable to work for an extended period, this will place a tremendous financial burden on Stephanie and the children during an already incredibly difficult time.
We are so thankful that God was watching over them and that they are all still alive. Now we are asking for your prayers and, if you are able, your financial support. Any amount, no matter how small, will help ease the burden and allow Stephanie to focus on what matters most: caring for her children and supporting Adam through his recovery.
If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping the Hunt family in your prayers. Your love, generosity, and support means so much!
