My name is Tristin Heath and I am setting up this GoFundMe for my dad, Adam Heath. My dad has recently been diagnosed with Stage 2 Tongue Cancer. He will be starting Proton Radiation Therapy in Hampton five days a week for 8 weeks, shortly.

In 2025, he not only received the shocking diagnosis of Tongue Cancer, but had hernia surgery, kidney stones, and a blockage. Due to these circumstances, he has been unable to work and will not be able to work during his treatments. Unfortunately, insurance will not be covering a large portion of his treatments, and there will be daily costs of traveling from the Outer Banks to Hampton, Virginia five days a week for 8 weeks.

My dad never asks for help, even in a situation like this, but he always, as long as I can remember, helped people when he was able. That is why I am doing this for him. He has a huge heart for others, and if you know him or have ever met him, you will know what I am talking about.

I would love for him to be blessed with not having to worry so much about money to pay bills and cover costs that insurance does not pay, so he can focus on his treatments and healing.
