Support Adam Duell's kidney transplant journey!

Having some minor unexplained symptoms in the weeks leading up to November 30, 2022, Adam Duell woke up that morning with more serious issues and decided to go to the doctor. On December 5, 2022 Adam was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. On that day, he also had one of his kidneys removed and was informed that his remaining kidney was not functioning at 100%. Adam experienced bleeding ulcers which lead him to have to stay in ICU for a week and received 39 blood transfusions. In February 2023, Adam was declared to be in End Stage Renal Failure. Adam has been in and out of the hospital since all of this started so many times that he has lost count. He has to have dialysis 3 times a week, he has neuropathy in his legs and hands due to kidney failure, he has to take 10-14 pills every day, he has had to have countless endoscopies, constant tests, lab work, hospital trips, and hotel stays. All of this is very expensive and has taken a toll on Adam, his wife, and their boys financially as well as trying to adapt to their new norm. However, they all are still hopeful and trusting that God will continue to strengthen and keep them during this process. Adam is in the process of being placed on the transplant list to receive a new kidney at UMMC in Jackson, MS, at UAB in Birmingham, AL, and at Ochsner in New Orleans, LA. Once Adam receives a match for a kidney, he will have to stay close to the hospital for a minimum of 30 days. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and used to help in preparation for the transplant and aftercare costs. Even if you cannot donate, we ask that you continue to pray for strength and endurance for this family.
James 5:16 says, “…The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."
