Adam Crossnoe is my long-time friend and co/worker at Scooters. He’s been diagnosed with B-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma with an underlying “MYC Rearrangment” - which means the disease could get a lot tougher on his body and the treatment could get more intense.

He’s got a teenage daughter and a 5 year old daughter and they’re literally his best friends.

He’s been feeling symptoms and pain for over a year, in his words “intense, twisting, stitching, collapsing pain that would move around the left side of my body like a mean little witch with a beehive in one hand and a steak knife in the other - it was in my left leg behind the knee for a few months, even after doctors and hospitals and the ER and testing, I had to use a cane sometimes…then it showed up in my left shoulder - could barely lift my arm for 2 months…then the headaches/neck aches started - those were the worst - the pain would escalate so fast, like, I’d be standing in my kitchen, then just out of nowhere I’d drop to the floor screaming, I had to get an ambulance one day and they found me almost blacked out in my driveway like a lunatic mumbling about finding my glasses and who’s going to feed the bunny - yeah, it was kind of a legit nightmare…the girls were worried, but the doctors couldn’t figure me out ‘til I pestered them about maybe getting a biopsy ‘cause I’d dropped 40-50 pounds without trying to to and we found this little bump on my left hip…I had to ask every week for a month and the doc finally ordered the biopsy to “calm me down”…then the results came back - lymphoma, stage 2..,which went to stage 3 within a month….then this cell rearrangment pinged in my results….I fell behind on everything a person could fall behind on, and brother….I’d just broke free from a 7 year depression, my “Great Depression”…it was brutal, but as soon as I start to see the colors in life again, that little, sharp witch started moving through my body”

He now faces intensive treatments five days a week, each lasting six hours, for at least six months or longer. As a devoted father to two young girls, Adam is doing everything he can to stay strong for his family, but the financial strain is overwhelming.

Despite his best efforts, Adam is struggling to keep up with mounting bills and medical expenses. Insurance only covers part of his treatment, leaving him with significant out-of-pocket costs. On top of that, he worries about providing for his daughters and keeping up with basic utilities like power and water. The stress of these financial burdens makes an already challenging situation even harder.

I’m reaching out to our community for help. Your support will go directly toward medical expenses that insurance doesn’t cover, help Adam take care of his daughters, and ensure his family doesn’t lose access to essential utilities.
