Support Adam Cluver's Battle with Esophageal Cancer
Donation protected
As most of our close friends and family know, and others may not because my son-in-law, Adam Cluver, is a pretty private person, but in November, our family was hit with yet another cancer diagnosis. At the age of 39, Adam was diagnosed with stage 2 esophageal cancer. It is very, very rare for someone his age to get esophageal cancer. He had his port put in in January, and the doctors said no more work after the port was placed. He has finished chemo for now and will be having surgery at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis at the end of April or beginning of May. Then, he will probably need more chemo.
Carle Hospital in Champaign is where he is getting treatment/chemo, but the doctor they recommended, who sits on their tumor board meetings and is the best for esophageal cancer surgery, is in St. Louis. He is going to rebuild Adam’s esophagus.
I am asking for help for them as Vanessa is working as much as she can besides bringing him to doctor appointments and also taking care of the boys and house. They will have to make a few trips to St. Louis, and when surgery happens, he will be there for a week or so.
We understand not everyone can donate, but even if you could just pray, send good vibes, or messages, or just share it will be greatly appreciated.
All donations will go directly into their bank account.
