My name is Adam Brinkley. I am a rising 2nd Class Cadet (Junior) at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI). I am seeking funds for my VMI Class Ring.

I am a very active member within the Corps of Cadets at VMI. I serve on the S-7 Staff, working to boost the Corps' spirits and morale. I work as a lifeguard and at the Corps Physical Training Facility (CPTF) as an instructor. I am on the club climbing and lacrosse teams. It is my goal to commission into the Coast Guard after graduating from VMI and hope to serve as a response afloat officer. This summer, I had the opportunity to attend the US Naval Academy Summer Sailing training. This was a life-changing experience that I would not have been able to have without VMI. VMI has given me so many opportunities, and I look forward to what VMI still has to offer.
