Support Adam Andrejczuk & His Family

Donation protected
Dear friends,

As some of you may know, this past September, Adam Andrejczuk was diagnosed with cancer, T-cell leukemia, a form known to be incredibly difficult and resistant to various treatments.

This news was almost unbelievable as Adam was previously the epitome of health: having run 4 marathons, going on frequent skiing, hiking, and biking trips with his family, holding a physically demanding job with Boccia Inc. for over 20 years, and always being the first to help those in his community.

Nonetheless, we all carried on with hope as Adam underwent chemotherapy after chemotherapy treatment, hoping that the cancer would go into remission.

After 6 rounds of chemotherapy over the course of 7 months, it has not. Adam's severe case has required that he spend almost all of these 7 months at the hospital.

Currently, Adam is under the care of New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, bed bound, suffering from the accumulated effects of both the cancer and the chemotherapy. As our hearts break watching him go through this all, Adam takes on these adversities without complaining, with dignity, humility, and patience. This speaks to his incredible strength and character, which he attributes to his family's support.

Adam's wife, Alicja, has been his constant companion, standing alongside him and helping navigate every trial with courage and hope. She takes on many roles, including caring for and supporting their two children, Peter, age 16, and Alexandra, age 21.
Adam’s younger brother, Jozef, flew in from Poland in February to spend every day in the hospital together, extending his flight constantly to be by his brother's side.

Medical bills from Adam's stay, including countless treatments and procedures, are piling on continuously. Adam is worried greatly about how this will impact his family.

We would like to relieve Adam of these worries. We are asking for your prayers and support, to give from your heart whatever you can, so that the family can focus on spending precious time with Adam in one of life's most difficult circumstances.

Thank you so very much.
