A dream years in the making.
Be a Part of Team Sojourn!
Adam Lindenmuth is the musher behind Sojourn Kennels, and he is preparing for the 2026 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.
Sojourn Kennels was built in 2021 with a goal to raise, train, and care for a sled dog team and one day run the Iditarod. The dogs on this team were born and raised at the kennel, growing up together and developing the bond, trust, and teamwork required for long-distance racing.
Team Sojourn is now preparing for the 1,049-mile Iditarod in March 2026. Getting to the starting line requires significant resources, including professional dog food, supplements, veterinary care, vaccinations, booties, dog coats, sleds and gear, harnesses, entry fees, shipping drop bags, airfare and transport for dogs, and the many logistics required to race safely.
As a small, independent kennel, support from friends, family, and the community makes this journey possible. Every contribution goes directly toward the care, training, and preparation of the dogs and helps ensure a safe, well-planned race.
When you support Team Sojourn, you are becoming part of the team and helping carry years of work to the Iditarod starting line.
Thank you for supporting the dogs, Adam and this journey. ❄️
