Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out to ask for your prayers and financial support for the Anderson family as their daughter, Adalynn, prepares for a critical bone marrow transplant.
For 12 years, Adalynn has bravely fought Glanzmann’s thrombasthenia (GT), a rare bleeding disorder. Recently, her condition has worsened—she’s developed antibodies to platelets, making her more vulnerable to life-threatening bleeds.
To prevent menstruation and further complications, Adalynn has been on an intense treatment plan, but it is no longer a sustainable long-term solution.
In advocating for the future 60 year old Adalynn, they are seeking to cure her of Glanzmann’s Thrombasthenia through a bone marrow transplant, which includes retraining her white blood cells. Glanzmann’s complicates everything.
The transplant is a vital step for her quality of life, but it comes with significant challenges. The Anderson family needs help covering living expenses during Adalynn’s treatment and recovery as they navigate this trial. This is certainly a 5 to 6-month battle, with the potential of extending to a year or more. They will know more based on how Adalynn responds.
Brett will be Adalynn’s primary caregiver during the Bone Marrow Transplant while Laura cares for Aubrey, who will not be allowed to stay on the BMT floor. Due to this, they will be without an income for at least 5-6 months in a best case scenario, but possibly up to a year or more, depending on how Adalynn responds. St. Jude provides free medical care, but unfortunately the bills at home keep going. The funds will be used to cover household bills and utilities, health and other insurance premiums, food while in the Target House, gas, and other expenses while they do not have an income.
The Andersons, including Adalynn, are placing their trust in the meticulous providence and sovereign will of Jesus. They’re also humbly asking for your help to share this burden. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference in easing their financial stress and allowing them to focus on Adalynn’s healing.
Please consider contributing and sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can lift up the Anderson family during this challenging time.
Thank you for your generosity and prayers!
Know that Adalynn’s “war” song is Even If by MercyMe. Pray she and her sister, Aubrey, know the love of Christ more through managing this affliction.
May Jesus receive all glory and be glorified, even if, as our hope is in him alone.
