Carley and Logan were able to welcome their beautiful baby girl on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at 28 weeks gestation. Friday morning Carley began experiencing excruciating pain in her abdomen that resulted in a uterine rupture. They had to take the baby by emergency c-section because Carley was bleeding into her abdomen as well as having contractions, and the baby was experiencing dips in her heart rate when they arrived at Vanderbilt. Sweet Adaleigh June Poore is a fighter, but they are anticipating that she will be in the hospital for the next 2 to 3 months. She was able to get off the ventilator a day after her birth, but has many weeks ahead left of being monitored and taken care of in the NICU at Vanderbilt until she is ready to come home. With the holidays coming up and two other children to take care of at home two hours away, (Liam, 12 and Isabelle, 8), Carley and Logan will be torn between caring for Adaleigh and traveling back and forth to care of their children and working back at home. Your donation will help them with gas, food, bills, and time off as they try to be with their baby girl in the hospital, as well as continue to manage their home from a distance.
