Hey everyone — it’s Acisse Jay, a blues, rock, and Americana artist on a mission to take my voice, my story, and my sound around the world.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected for the Château d’Orquevaux Artists & Writers Residency in France — a prestigious program that brings together global creatives to focus on their craft, culture, and community. This opportunity will allow me to compose new music, expand my artistic reach, and represent the spirit of Black women in rock and blues on an international stage.
But that’s not all — Acisse Jay & The Gents have just been invited to perform at NAMM 2026, one of the largest and most influential music industry events in the world! ✨ We’ll share the stage with global artists, gear innovators, and industry leaders, showcasing our original music and the power of modern Americana soul.
I’ve been out of work since May 2025, I’ve relied on freelance and odd jobs to make ends meet. Even during this challenging season, I’ve continued to build my career, perform, and uplift my community through music. This residency and NAMM invitation mark the next chapter — and your support makes it real.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment — but getting there takes resources.
Your support will help cover:
- Travel and accommodations for the France residency
- NAMM performance travel expenses for the band
- Filming, music content, and documentation to share the experience with you
- New music creation inspired by the residency and the road to NAMM
As an artist, educator, and community builder, I’ve spent years merging music with empowerment. Now, I’m inviting you to be part of this journey. Every contribution — no matter the size — helps fuel the dream. You’ll not only help send me to France and NAMM, but you’ll also help amplify a story that represents perseverance, authenticity, and soul.
Thank you for helping me take this music — our music — to the world.
Let’s make history together.
With gratitude,
Acisse Jay
