Support Ace: Medical Care for Injured stray outdoor Cat
Donation protected
Meet Ace! He was a cat dumped in my neighborhood who's been living outside for years! He's been coming to my house for a little over a year. I feed him daily and have nursed him back to health. He used to be short-haired, not fluffy, and skinny. Now, he's fluffy and healthy. However, I also have Cinder, a feral male who comes to eat daily, and they've been fighting. Ace's ear was severely injured and cut in half. Again, I nursed him as much as I can with antibiotics, supplements, and food but have been trying to trap him. His ear started to get better until the other night he came back, and it is freshly bleeding with now an additional wound on his head and likely some dental issues, which is why he's getting beat up. This is the reality of what happens to the cats who are dumped! It's harsh out there for them. I just trapped the unneutered feral male and am working with help from PDX Cat Trapper to trap Ace and get him immediate medical attention. I will be paying to get him fixed up, likely surgery to suture his ear and neutering both he and Cinder, the feral tomcat. Please consider helping Ace and me by donating to his medical care. They will both be neutered and released, but if Ace is not feral, as we suspect he's not since he's comfortable with me, he may be able to be fostered with me or someone I find. Either way, he will be cared for by me, and I'm paying for it all, so anything helps! Thank you!
