Hey everyone! In March, I will be participating in the Tokyo Marathon while representing the charity ACE (Action Against Child Exploitation). This charity advocates for children in countries all over the world to keep young children out of dangerous forms of child labor. This hits home for me personally because ACE‘s efforts expand into my family’s home country, Ghana, where many children are working grueling hours in dangerous conditions, forgoing school to harvest cacao and cotton. Ghana is near and dear to my heart and helping my people is something I am passionate about. I have pledged $1,400 to the charity and the rest would go toward my travel expenses.
