Support Access to Education in Liberia

Arlington Tech’s own math teacher, Mr. Isaac Zawolo, has been supporting the schools in his home country of Liberia.

2020/2021 has been a difficult school year during the pandemic.  We can hardly imagine how difficult it would be in Liberia.  So, for our 2021 project, the Arlington Career Center National Honor Society (NHS) decided to partner with the Giddings Polytechnic Academy (grades 7-12) in Kakata Liberia. With the help of Mr. Zawolo, we were able to identify ways we can support academic success in the Kakata school community. Our goal is to provide the students with technology, toiletries, and school supplies. We hope you will join our efforts to improve educational access and opportunities in Liberia.

Donations of any kind can be made on this GoFundMe page. For a tax-deductible receipt, payments must be made directly through Arlington County’s Online School Payment portal.
