Support Academia Atlas: Replace Burned Equipment

Incident Occurred: Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 12:00-1:00am — Vittum Park (Chicago IL)

Hello everyone,

We come to unfortunate news. In the middle of night we have gotten phone calls and messages of a big fire in Vittum park. Unfortunately, what was on fire was our Academia Atlas storage shed. The shed and everything in it is now burned and melted by the fire. Inside we had training equipment and travel soccer game day equipment. Around the shed we also had aluminum soccer nets that are now burned and now un-useable.

Nothing inside the shed was of any liquid or electrical element. We don’t believe or know anything that could’ve had started the fire. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. But damage and all the equipment inside combined is costly. We would appreciate any donation large or small to help us buy new equipment. We will also take any used or new equipment as well.
