Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our mission to support vulnerable teens in Texas. We are grateful and appreciate your interest and support as we launch Abundance of Peace Group Home LLC, a healing space for youth in need.

We are Salvina Boone and Barbarella Grady, the founders of Abundance of Peace Group Home LLC, a soon-to-be licensed 24-hour residential facility for vulnerable teens in Texas. Our mission is simple but urgent: we will provide a safe, stable, and nurturing home for teens aged 13–17 who have been placed in the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment.

Why we’re here:

Every child deserves a peaceful place to grow. Unfortunately, far too many teens in the DFPS system are placed in temporary shelters, overburdened foster homes, or even left without proper placement. Abundance of Peace Group Home was born out of a deep desire to change that with hopes of creating a real home where healing, support, structure, and belonging are possible.

Our Vision

At Abundance of Peace, we believe in:

• Trauma-informed care that recognizes and responds to the emotional wounds our youth carry.

• Structure and stability, helping teens build life skills and confidence.

• A family-like environment where they feel seen, heard, and supported.

We are in the final stages of completing licensing requirements through DFPS. We’ve secured a location, begun staffing, and written detailed policies and procedures. But to open our doors and start welcoming youth, we need your help.

How Funds Will Be Used

Your generous donations will help us cover key startup costs, including:

• Furnishing bedrooms, bedding, linens, personal care items, kitchen, bathroom, household supplies, and common areas

• Safety and security features required by licensing

• Staff training and onboarding

• Licensing, insurance, and operational compliance costs

• Emergency and welcome kits for incoming youth
