Our family dog Abril is fighting for her life.

After suddenly falling critically ill Abril underwent emergency surgery to remove tumors. She's now battling a serious blood infection and remains under intensive care.

Abril has been with our family since 2010. When my sisters and I moved to the U.S. from Mexico, we had to leave her behind which was a heartbreaking decision. But in 2020, we were finally able to bring her home to the U.S. for good. From the moment she arrived, my sister Wendy became her protector and best friend.

Abril isn’t just a pet—she's a symbol of home, resilience, and love. She’s been there for us through life’s hardest moments, and now it’s our turn to be there for her.

We’re raising funds to cover Abril’s ongoing medical expenses. The cost of emergency surgery, hospitalization, and infection treatment has been overwhelming. Wendy is doing everything she can, but the financial burden is heavy.
