Hi, I’m Abrar.

I came to the United States in 2022 with a heart full of dreams and a strong belief in the power of education. I completed my Master’s in Computer Science with great results, hoping to start a new chapter of life here and support my family back home in India.

But life didn’t go as planned.

Despite all my efforts, I wasn’t able to land a job. Changing job market conditions, shifts in employment systems, and growing uncertainty for international graduates made it extremely difficult. To avoid being forced to return home without paying back my education loan ..which was taken by keeping a family asset at stake .. I had no choice but to join a second Master’s program just to maintain my visa status.

This decision wasn’t easy, emotionally or financially. Every month is a struggle to manage rent, food, tuition, and loan interest piling up back home. My parents are aging, and the burden on them is heavy. If I go back now without settling anything, I fear my family could lose the only property we have, and the situation in India is not easy for me due to personal and social challenges.

I am raising funds so I can cover basic living and school expenses while I continue studying and searching for job opportunities. I just need a little support to stay afloat during this tough time. Even the smallest help can make a big difference in helping me keep going and give me a chance to build a life I’ve worked so hard for.
