Hi, my name is Simmie Anderson and I am the founder of Protect Our Streets. On June 18, 2024 at Marshall Middle School along with he Diaz family, we will be hosting our 1st Annual basketball Showcase "Celebration of Life" to honor and remember Lynn's very own Abraham Diaz.

Abraham Diaz was a former Lynn English 6'6 basketball star who tragically lost his life at the young age of 25 due to gun violence. Abraham was loved by many and in his memory I have started the Abraham Basketball Elite foundation to raise awareness of gun violence in our Lynn Community. The Showcase basketball game will bring together 52 elite basketball players from Lynn to honor and continue his legacy.

With your donation, I will be able to provide the 52 Lynn basketball athletes who are participating in the upcoming basketball Showcase with uniforms, hoodies , sneakers and etc. All proceeds raised will go towards the Abraham's Basketball Elite and Protect Our Street Foundation.
