Support Abraham's Family in Their Loss

Mi papa, Abraham Parra-Ortiz era un hombre luchador, chistoso y alegre. Le encantaba bailar, y tocar el teclado. Desafortunadamente, colapso el viernes 10 de Enero. Los paramedicos lo llevaron al hospital de New Bern, NC. Poco despues nos informaron que le avia dado un derrame cerebral y necesitaba un neurologo, de ayi lo transfirieron al hospital de Greenville, donde nos dieron muy pocas esperanzas….su derrame occurio en un lugar muy profundo del cerebro y no avia nada que aser. Apesar de esta triste noticia, decidimos ponerlo en manos de Dios y orar por un milagro. Lamentablemente el dia Martes 14 de Enero fue declarado fallecido a causa de muerte cerebral. Dejo a 4 hijas y 1 hijo. A su esposa, y a 5 ñietos. Les pedimos apoyo con donaciones para cubrir gastos funerarios, y poder mandarlo a su pais natal. Tambien pedimos mucha oracion para nuestra familia en estos momentos tan dificiles. Que Dios les pague su bondad.

My father, Abraham Parra-Ortiz was a funny, cheerful, and courageous man. He loved music, dancing, and playing the keyboard. Unfortunately, he collapsed on Friday, January 10th. The paramedics took him to the hospital in New Bern, NC. Shortly after, they informed us that he had a stroke and needed a neurologist. From there, they transferred him to the hospital in Greenville, where they gave us very little hope…his stroke occurred deep in his brain and there was nothing that could be done. Despite this sad news, we decided to put him in God's hands and pray for a miracle. Unfortunately, on Tuesday, January 14th, he was declared brain dead, and was taken off of life support. He left behind 4 daughters and 1 son, his wife, and 5 grandchildren. We ask for your support with donations to cover funeral expenses to be able to send him to his home country. We also ask for lots of prayers for our family in these difficult times. May God reward you for your generosity.
