On Friday June 24, the Supreme Court announced its decision in Dobbs vs. Jackson and officially overturned Roe. 

This almost immediately outlawed abortion in 13 states due to trigger laws–laws that were unconstitutional while Roe was in effect but were passed in red states in advance of an eventual overturn, including Texas.

 

This will lead to worse health outcomes for people who need abortions and other reproductive care. The only recourse people will have will be traveling out of state to obtain care.

 

Unfortunately, that can be incredibly cost-prohibitive.

 

I'm raising money to support the Texas Equal Access Fund, a group that does critical work in Texas to support people seeking reproductive care.
