In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
“…and give wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask, and for freeing people from hardship.”
— Quran, Surat Al-Baqarah 2:177
Ablah is an elderly woman I came to know at Fairfax Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, where she was receiving care for stage 4 cancer. I witnessed her strength and resilience as she faced these serious health challenges. Recently, Ablah was moved to the hospital, where she underwent dialysis. Unfortunately, her insurance was terminated, and her husband is unable to afford the out-of-pocket costs for her medical treatment. As a result, Ablah has had to return home, where she is not receiving the level of care she needs and deserves.
This situation has placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on Ablah and her family. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward her medical bills, helping to ensure she can access the treatments and support she needs during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in Ablah’s life and bring hope to her family.
Your support will not only help cover Ablah’s medical expenses but also show her and her loved ones that they are not alone. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
