Hi, I’m Abi. I’m 25, disabled enough to know the nurses at the ER by name, but not enough to get help from the government, have a laundry list of mental health struggles I could lay out, and am a southern transplant in the midwest with a very narrow support system.

After an intense mental health episode, I went into an extended hospital treatment with the support of so many, and was out of work for a month. In MN we can get paid FMLA, but my employers admitted to filing it incorrectly and not doing their part to it. Among other wage theft issues that are being pursued already, I ended up not being able to pay my rent this month, and can’t use my car currently to get myself groceries from food banks since I had to use the funds on medical and life expenses.

Long story short, I need help, and I feel like I’ve exhausted my resources. I’m trying to get a month of rent, and hopefully some extra to be able to get mobile again as well. Anything helps so much, here are some of the big bills also
