Exciting News – A Change in Direction!

First, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me and donated towards my opportunity with the Boston Ballet. Your generosity and encouragement mean the world to me!

That’s why I wanted to personally share that, after a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to shift paths — and it’s because I’ve been offered an even more incredible opportunity: I’ve been accepted as a trainee at Étoile Ballet Theatre in Piacenza, Italy for a 10-month program beginning this September!

This was not an easy decision to make. I was so excited about Boston, but the timing for securing a visa, along with the financial and logistical challenge of trying to make both programs work, became overwhelming. Ultimately, this new opportunity will give me even more room to grow — both as a dancer and as a person.

At Étoile Ballet, I’ll be training alongside dancers from all over the world in classical ballet, neo-classical, and contemporary styles, and I’ll get the chance to perform in at least three major productions with the Company. Their performances take place throughout Italy and have even reached audiences in Egypt and China.

What makes this program even more special is the full cultural immersion — I’ll be living in dancer housing that's connected to the studio, and I’ll finally get to experience the Italian life I’ve only ever heard about from my Nonna, along with exploring by bus, train, and (no doubt) lots of walking and delicious cuisine.

I'm beyond grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime chance, and I can't wait to take you all along this journey with me — whether that’s through updates, photos, or sharing what I learn on and off the stage.
