Hello Everyone!

My name is Abigail Mackowski and my husband's name is Justin Mackowski. We have been married for 6 years and trying to have a child since. We are finally starting our fertility journey; however, it can be very expensive, and our insurance will not cover anything. We have had multiple tests done and lots of bloodwork. Because I have PCOS and they believe one of my fallopian tubes is blocked, it is difficult for me to get pregnant. So, we are going to start the IVF (In-vitro Fertilization) process. The closest fertility clinic we can go to is in Syracuse, New York. So, we will have to travel there a few times throughout the process. We are also planning on a frozen embryo transfer, which means we will need to pay for the clinic to store our eggs. We know it will be expensive, emotional and a lot of work, but we are so excited to become parents and have the family we have been trying to build for so long.

***A little update - We had our egg retrieval and were able to successfully freeze 4 embryos! On 02/28/2026, we had our first frozen embryo transfer, and I FINALLY had a pregnancy test come back positive! We were over the moon excited.... unfortunately, on 04/03/2026, we were told that it was not a viable pregnancy and I miscarried the following week. It has been incredibly hard emotionally. We are now preparing for a second transfer, which means more medical expenses. Any help that anybody can give to help us pay off our medical expenses and help us with our next transfer is greatly appreciated!
