Support Abie Vegetable People's Greenhouse Recovery

Hi, I’m Erin, and with my husband Mark, we own a local produce farm, Abie Vegetable People, in Abie, NE. Not only is the farm our livelihood and means of supporting our family, but it's our way of connecting to our community.

In the early morning on May 24th, a storm irreparably damaged all of our new, small greenhouses. A large portion of our business and income relies on these greenhouses, and we are devastated.

We had only found out several days ago that the insurance policy we already have denied coverage on these greenhouses and we were in the process of finding another one. Without insurance our only option is to purchase all new greenhouses out of our own pocket, which is why we are trying to raise funds here.

All funds raised will go towards purchasing new greenhouses so we can keep a large part of the farm going this season. We have been farming since 2010 and we want to keep serving the community in this way. Thank you for all your support!
