Support Abi and Payton's NICU Journey

My name is Ellen and I'm trying help my daughter and her husband with the bills and expenses after the very unexpected premature birth of their daughter.

On August 12th Abi started feeling weird. Payton took her to the emergency room. Shortly after arriving at the hospital Abi had a seizure. Abi was diagnosed with eclampsia and the only cure is delivery. At 31 weeks gestation Charlotte Rose Kay came into this world at 9:53pm, weighing 3 lbs and is 15 inches long.

Abi does not have maternity leave and because the baby was born 9 weeks early, the plan she had to save money will not be helpful. Payton was to start a new job as a teacher on August 19th and have his training this week. He had to miss his training because of the birth of their child and the seriousness of it all. He now will not be a teacher starting on the 19th, but a teachers aid. All of this drastically changes the finances they thought they would have come October when little Lottie Rose was supposed to be here. Even though Abi in the hospital and Payton isn't going to have the job he thought, their bills will still be coming in. Please help ease the burden on these new parents parents just a little bit while they navigate these new times as, not only parents, but parents to a NICU baby.

8/15/24 Update: Baby Charlotte is acting all grown and off all oxygen today! We're still waiting for her central line to be removed so Mommy and Daddy can finally hold her.
