In Loving Memory of My Beloved Brother, Abhishek Singh Thakur
It is with unbearable sorrow that I share the passing of my dearest brother, Abhishek Singh Thakur, who left us far too soon in Chicago, Illinois, on November 7, 2025, due to hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Abhishek was only 31 — full of life, dreams, and endless compassion. He came to the United States from India, hyderabad as a master’s student, driven by a deep desire to build a better life for his family. Through dedication and integrity, he earned his H-1B visa and built a meaningful career while remaining grounded in his values and love for home.
He was much more than my brother — he was my closest friend, my guide, and a person whose heart was pure and selfless. A fitness enthusiast, an artist, and a deep thinker, he expressed his creativity through photography, cooking and arts. He was gentle, soft-spoken, and always kind-hearted, never hurting anyone.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, whom he married just a year and a half ago, sharing a bond filled with deep love and cherished memories. He also leaves our parents, sister, and brother in India — the family he devoted himself to supporting with unwavering dedication. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts, yet as a family, we stand united in our vow to ensure his wife and our parents are always safe, lovingly cared for, and surrounded by warmth — just as he would have wished.
We are raising funds to help support the dependents during this difficult time, covering immediate expenses such as funeral costs, medical bills, and helping them stabilize financially as they navigate life without their pillar of strength. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. Your support will honor his memory and provide some relief to those who loved him dearly.
May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace, and may his love continue to guide and protect us every day.
