Setting a New Record
In June 2025, Abhishek Duttagupta and Ayush Duttagupta are set to be the first father & son duo from India to scale the highest peak - Mount Denali (20,310 feet) - in North America, Alaska, one of the toughest climbs of the seven summits in the world.
Sponsorship and Support
We are requesting your support for the expedition sponsorship of this landmark event. The total cost of the expedition amounts to USD 19,500/- for both participants. This cost encompasses climbing permits and royalties, rope fixing charges, garbage management fees, mountain guide charges, base camp fees, and any necessary climbing equipment.
Past Achievements
Ayush, a 16-year-old 12th standard student, is an avid mountaineer and has been involved in trekking and high-altitude climbing from an early age of 10 years. In August 2024, at the age of 15 years and 10 months, he became the youngest in the world to attempt - in the same climbing season - two back-to-back peaks over 6000m/20,000 feet in Markha Valley, Ladakh - Kang Yatse 1 (6400m) and KY2 (6240m).
Abhishek works in the banking sector. He is an ultra-distance runner and an avid mountaineer. He completed a mountaineering course from the Himalayan Institute of Mountaineering and scaled numerous high-altitude peaks above 6000 meters - Mt Kun (7077m), Kang Yatse 1 & 2 (6400m), Ama Dablam (6812m), Island Peak (6165m), Stok Kangri (6153m) - to name a few. Over the years, he completed several full marathons and ultra distance running, including the highest ultra of 72 KM – Khardungla Challenge (18,379 feet) in Leh, Ladakh.
