Support Abel's Journey to CU Boulder

Hi Family and Friends!
As many of you know, I work in a high school where I provide college counseling to students, a majority of whom identify as first-generation and low-income. This year I had the pleasure of working with a wonderful young man named Abel who is planning to attend CU Boulder in the fall to study Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. About two years ago, Abel was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and this past year he has been experiencing homelessness due to circumstances out of his control. He is currently living with a friend and his family who have kindly offered him a place to stay, but still wants to pursue his dreams of attending CU Boulder.
If you don't know, CU Boulder is not cheap. Even with grants, scholarships, work-study, and taking out maximum student loans, Abel has a gap of about $7000. We have appealed for more aid and Abel is currently working to save money, but I'd love to get him some support in making his first tuition payments so he can achieve his goals.
Any help for Abel would be greatly appreciated!
