It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved grandmother, Abelia Berdan. She suffered a stroke and a heart attack, and afterward underwent a craniotomy procedure. Despite her strength and resilience, she left us far too soon.
My mom and I have been carrying the weight of this loss together. The past few weeks have been incredibly tough, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Beyond the grief of losing her, we are determined to honor her final wish: to return her to her homeland, the Philippines, where she can be laid to rest properly and eternally.
Bringing her home is not just about distance, but about love and dignity—giving her the farewell she truly deserves, surrounded by the culture and place that shaped her life.
I am humbly asking for your support in helping us make this possible. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward the costs of transporting her and ensuring she rests where she belongs. Your kindness will not only bring peace to her memory but will also provide comfort to me and my mom as we try to heal from this heartbreaking journey.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting us through this time. Your generosity means more than words can express.
