Recently, our dear brother Abelardo “Abel” Garcia received a diagnosis that has forever changed his journey: ALS, also known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or “Lou Gehrig's disease.” This progressive neurological condition affects muscle movement and control, gradually impacting the body. While the road ahead will be difficult, we are holding on to hope, love, and the strength that has always defined Abel’s spirit.

Abel has always been the kind of person you could count on. Whether it was helping a family member through tough times, showing up for a friend in need, or simply offering a steady hand and a kind heart, he has spent his life lifting others. Now, Abel needs our support more than ever.

Why We’re Asking for Help:
