Hello! I'm Katerina, I'm from Texas, and I am raising funds to support my good friend Abdul Malik.

Since he is unable to recieve the funds directly, I will be collecting them for him and sending them to him daily.

Malik and his family are facing unimaginable hardship after losing their home, livelihood, belongings, and even their pets in the genocide in Gaza.

After enduring over 2 years of suffering and displacement, their greatest hope is to cross out of Gaza and begin rebuilding their lives in a place with safety, stability, and opportunities for work and education.

As the oldest son among eight siblings, Malik carries the responsibility of supporting his entire family.

He worked hard to complete his education in financial management and human resources, and was looking forward to opening a business with his family.

Now, with no opportunities to work and large family to support, he is struggling to provide even the most basic necessities and must rely on the generosity of people like you.

There are eleven people in Abdul’s family, including four sisters, three brothers, his parents, and his darling young nephew. Their immediate needs are food, medicine, clean water, and basic supplies to keep warm.

Prices for these essentials have skyrocketed, and families are forced to endure the harsh winter cold and brutal rain storms without proper shelter.

The stress of displacement and uncertainty and constant danger has taken a heavy toll on everyone.

Malik and his family simply want the chance to live a normal and dignified life in a safe place, as all human beings do.

You can directly help Malik’s family survive and make progress toward a new life.

Contributions will go toward crossing fees, as well as purchasing food, medicine, other essentials, as they strive toward their goal of collecting enough money to cover crossing fees to cross out of Gaza to safety.
