Support Abdallah's Family and Education

My name is Saif, I am a Palestinian American living in the US.

I am raising money for two brothers, Abdullah (18) and Obeida (24) Abu Reida who evacuated to Egypt from Gaza before the crossing was closed as well as the rest of their family (9 people) still in Gaza. These funds will be used to help with their living expenses (rent, food) and to allow Abdullah to attend university.

The rest of their family in Gaza is surviving off of donations from our community. I have been in touch with Abdullah for months, verifying his situation and speaking with him on the phone. I want to provide enough to support them long term as his family has been displaced several times, from Rafah, to khan Younis and most recently forced to leave again to the area near Al Aqsa University.

Surviving in Gaza is expensive with food costs skyrocketing . His father was an accountant and has received no income for 8 months. He was also shot in the leg with no ability to get surgery to remove the bullet. He is trying to support 9 members of his family struggling to survive.

For Abdallah in Cairo rent is $450 a month, typically living off one meal a day (typically a falafel sandwich)

Tuition for the year is $3000, this is after a 50% discount for Palestinian refugees.

Costs for food for his family in Gaza are astronomical. 1 Jug of undrinkable water costs $40 and they need at least 2 a day.

When they were displaced from Rafah to Khan Younis, transporting their belongings on a cart cost $150.

So many people need help and I've taken it upon myself to do what I can for this family. Please help me help them. Abdallah deserves an education and his family deserves to have food, water, shelter. I have seen them have to set up and take down tents several times and flee, suffer injuries and disease without medicine or Healthcare. Every little bit helps when everyday is a struggle to survive.

I am hoping to raise enough in the next two weeks so that Abdullah can pay his tuition bill due on July 14nth and have enough to support himself and his family for as long as possible.
