We were a family of seven, but our father passed away three years ago due to the cursed coronavirus, leaving us as six members. Our mother became the sole provider for her children: Abdulaziz, who is studying accounting; Raghad, who is studying at the College of Dentistry; Mohammed, who is in high school; Qasim, in preparatory school; and Malik, in elementary school.
We used to live in a five-story building, on the second floor.
Our hardship began when we lost our father. Our mother did everything she could to provide for us—she was both a mother and a father. She worked as a teacher, and we tried to support her by doing small projects like selling water or setting up a small street stall.
When the war began, a new chapter of suffering started. Everything became difficult—obtaining even the most basic necessities was extremely hard. Things got even worse when we were displaced from Rafah. We moved from one place to another, displaced over and over again—nine times in total—because there was no safe place. We faced many challenges and hardships.
After eight months of continuous displacement, a temporary truce began. We returned to Rafah only to find our home completely destroyed and uninhabitable. We stayed with relatives and started building a temporary shelter for ourselves. But just as we completed it, the occupation forces demanded that we evacuate once again—this time on foot. We left everything behind.
Now, we are staying with relatives, without any belongings.
Please help us rebuild our home and furnish it.
Please help us pay the online university tuition for Abdulaziz and Raghad.
