Hello, friends!
If we haven’t met yet, let me introduce myself — my name is Abby. I’m a special education teacher, a devoted member of Gateway Fellowship Church in Gonzales, TX, a proud dog mom, and a missionary wherever God calls me. I’m so grateful you’re taking the time to read this!
If you know my story, you know I’ve been incredibly blessed to share the gospel in various countries. I carry a deep passion for making sure everyone has the opportunity to know the love of Jesus. Three years ago, I had the chance to go to one of the most culturally diverse places in the world — New York City. The people we encountered were so unique and beautiful, and I felt the Lord’s overwhelming love for the city. I remember turning to a friend after a long night of ministry and saying, “I’m coming back here.”
And now, that time has come.
Our church is preparing to launch its very first mission trip to New York City to partner with the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM) in Queens — and I am beyond excited to be a part of this launch! It’s a huge answer to prayer for me personally, and an incredible milestone for our church as we step out to send a team for the very first time.
I’m asking you to partner with us in prayer as we prepare to go. And if you feel led, please consider supporting us financially. No gift is too small or too large — every contribution helps and is a true blessing to our team. I have a goal to reach $1,100 by June 30th.
Finally, if you’re reading this and you don’t yet know Jesus or fully understand His love for you, please hear me: He is real, He is good, and He is calling to you right now — inviting you to open your heart and receive His love.
The truth is, all of us have done wrong — we’ve made mistakes (even when we try to be “good people”) — and those choices have separated us from God. But God never wanted that separation. Out of love, He sent His only Son, Jesus, to live the perfect life we couldn’t live, to die a painful death on the cross to pay for every wrong we’ve ever done, and then to rise from the grave three days later — defeating sin and death so we could be reunited with Him forever. He did this for me. He did this for you. His love has changed my life completely and I fully believe it can change yours too.
If you want to receive that love and that life-changing grace, the Bible says all you need to do is believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord — that He died and rose again for you — and you will be saved. You will be made new. You’ll no longer be defined by your mistakes, but by God’s love. That’s the Good News — and I’m praying it reaches you today.
With love and gratitude,
Abby
Romans 10:13-15
“For ‘everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard?
And how are they to hear without someone preaching?
And how are they to preach unless they are sent?
As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’”
