Support Abbie's Recovery from COVID
Our dear sweet Abbie (Heim) Dixon is currently fighting for her life. On Monday August 23rd, Abbie was hospitalized with COVID-19, and today she was moved into the ICU due to concerns about her oxygen levels and lung capacity. She is also 37 weeks pregnant with their second child.
Micah is also recovering from the virus and has thankfully been able to be with her at the hospital. Abbie's mom Joy has flown to California to be nearby and to help take care of their daughter, Sloane.
One thing we know: Abbie is not alone. Our Good Shepherd is carrying her close. He is her Savior, her Redeemer, her Friend, her Hope, her Peace. Please pray for Abbie: ask God that she would know His presence - He sees, and He is caring for her. Please pray for Micah as he recovers from Covid and has been at the hospital with Abbie since Monday. Please pray for their unborn baby, that an emergency C section would not be needed and Abbie can continue the pregnancy until she is recovering.
The family asks that you do not text Abbie at this time, but keep an eye on this page or Joy's Facebook updates for news on her condition. She is very tired and will not be using her phone, focusing her energies on resting and recovering her lung strength.
