The last few weeks have been incredibly hard. My niece was 18 year old and had a motor bike accident (non fault). Injuries include a broke femur and a shattered foot. Broken right arm and hand. Since then she has had 4 surgerys one of them being 18hours reconstruction to try and save her right foot but unfortunately nothing has worked and today Abbie will have her right leg amputated. She spent her 19th birthday in Manchester royal hospital and will be there for at least a few more weeks. Abbie’s mum and dad have had 2 weeks of work so far and will be off until after Christmas. Financially they will struggle for Christmas and will have to move Abbie back home for full time care and out of university. Therefor many changes will have to be made at home and any small donation could really help them hopefully to get Abbie home before Christmas and enjoy some kind of normality.
